I would say it depends on how you want to use it. Is it a border you would color? Chocolate chip or black would work. Do want it as a more muted BG? then Creamy caramel would be better. Or Close to Cocoa to hedge!!

I'm asking because I have a customer who wants me to suggest for her what to buy. I dont have this wheel myself. Shes a beginner stamper so I figured she wouldnt be coloring it in or anything like that. I'm not really sure what her intentions are. I think she just thought the wheels were neat

I really prefer Close to Cocoa, I think creamy caramel is just a bit too light for the gingerbread man!

I also love close to cocoa for the gingerbread....nice shade, not too dark and not too light.

I chose other - b/c I was thinking really rust - then I read your post (I don't like to read the posts before I vote because I don't want the comments to sway my opinion) and I think I would have her get Chocolate Chip - this color would be good for future wheel purcahses.

If you want an outline - I would go Choc Chip. If it is for solid then I would go CtC or CC.

Why not ask her? This way, you'll be better able to guide her in her color selection.

I have used it in many different ways, with many different colors. If wheeling it onto white cardstock, I usually use Chocolate Chip or Creamy Caramel.

My customer ended up choosing Close to Cocoa as well. I hope she'll be happy with her decision. She is a beginner stamper so I really want her to be pleased with her purchases. I just find it hard to help people sometimes, when they dont have any idea what they want. They basically say, 'you choose for me' and then I feel pressured to make the right decision

Thanks for your input everyone!

If she's just using it for cards, tell her to wheel on the ink pads -- no need to buy a cartridge.
