A good friend of hers is hosting a workshop tonight with me. If I tack her order onto the workshop and she pays the expedited shipping - does that mean everyone's stuff will get here next day/2 nd day?? Does that affect anyone else's shipping fees? If not, it seems like a better option for me to do that vs. placing her order seperate. It won't make a difference in shipping time if I place the order today vs tomorrow, since it's after 1 pm EST, correct?
Did I make sense?
TIA! |

Yes.

No. Everyone in the workshop would be charged the standard 10%.
Second day UPS is charged in $20.00 increments for every $500.00 in merchandise. This is in addition to the standard 10% shipping.
So if your workshop was $700, you would be charged $40.00 for second day UPS.
My advice: I'd see where your workshop total falls, then determine if you should do second day UPS on the whole workshop or just enter the customer's order as such.
Example: If your workshop is under $500 in merchandise, including the customer's order in question, charge all customers standard 10% and the customer that forgot the set that is willing to pay the expedited shipping the additional $20.00, in addition to the 10% of her merchandise total.
If your workshop (including the customer's stamp(s) mentioned above) falls over $500, enter this customer's order (the customer in question) as a seperate, customer order, and click on second day ups for her order only.
LMK if this makes sense.
