Color Combinations

I found a great (free) source for inspiration on color combinations. The paint department of Home Depot and other paint stores have cards or pamphlets with color combinations that work together. I picked up several at Home Depot (Behr paint) to peruse when I need inspiration. I know the colors might not be an exact match to the cardstock colors I have, but I can lay out my closest CS matches to see how they look together. If you don't feel like leaving the house or the stores are closed, a lot of sites have programs where you can play around with paint colors. When you select your primary color (the main color you want to use) it will select trim and accent colors to go with it. So you can do this with your computer, too. Only drawback is that your computer display might not show the colors accurately. But I would still try it and then pull out my CS and lay it together to see how the combo looks.

Here's a couple of sites to get you started:

I love blush blossom with black. Here's one from my gallery.

Sorry, I was posting to a different thread and I didn't realize that I had clicked back to yours. It must have seemed like a weird response! LOL

No, it fits into the topic of color combinations. Your card is adorable. Thank you for sharing. You've inspired me to try pink and black together.
