Default Color Box Chalk Pads

I just read the tutorials on the Drunken Chalks and Crinkled Chalks. Love the techniques you can do with these. I also saw that you could also use the classic ink pads for the same effect. Is there really a big difference between the chalk pads and classic ink pads when using these techniques? And what other techniques or uses have you done with these chalk pads? I guess I'm debating on whether or not I should get them?

Not the authority here since I don't have any chalk inks yet, but I'm SO getting them in my next order! I believe some of the differences between chalk and classic are that the chalks are more opaque and definitely have a softer look than the classics. Plus, you could probably stamp on dark paper with lighter chalk inks and it would most likely show up.

But, as I said, I don't even have them yet!! I'm sure chalk ink owners will speak up and convince you!!

Default Other Uses for Chalk Pads

What other fun things can we do with chalk pads? I sadly must admit that I have a chalk pad but hadno CLUE how to use. I will definitely try out these new techniques from Beate. Does anyone else have other ideas on how to use them?
