Default Stamp/LSS - Ft. Lauderdale, FL

I am going to be in Ft. Lauderdale for a few days next month attending a conference.

I will have a few hours Monday afternoon....anywhere interesting to shop?

I will be staying at a hotel on North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard......

Thanks for your help!

It is not exactly in Ft Lauderdale but you should check out Scrapbook Central. It is a very large LSS with alot of the latest and greatest stuff. She does not have a lot of wood mount stamps but she has alot of acrylic and carries Inque Boutique and Unity stamps. Lots of ink and other stamping accessories, too. I recently attended a Tim Holtz class there and it was awesome. Lots of Tim Holtz stuff, too.

There is a GREAT stamp store in Ft. Lauderdale called Stamp-Shack. The owner, Lynn, is a stamping dynamo and has lots of fabulous goodies in stock. I will see if I can find her info and post it here.

I'd be interested in where those two stores are if you can list the info. I go to Ft. Lauderdale a lot.

TIA
Fran

Was she the past owner of Stamping Wild? I used to love that store but I had heard it closed. I then heard that the owner openned another store but never learned the name. If it is anything like Stamping Wild, it's fabulous!

It's me again... I was able to get the store address and phone number for you. And, yes, Lynn was the owner of Stamping Wild. She sold the store to another owner who then had to close for family reasons. Lynn just couldn't stay away from stamping though and decided to open another store. It is positively delightful... just like her!

O thank you from me, too! I have been looking for a stamp store, and though Ft. Lauderdale's not too close, it could certainly be a field trip. I had always heard what a great store Stampin Wild was and I was so bummed that it closed before I ever got to visit it. Great information - thanks again!

Thanks so much for the post. I go to Fort Lauderdale every winter and was so bummed when Stampin Wild closed. Never did know why. Can't wait to go to the Shack. Thanks a lot.
