Default Stamping Weekend Away

I'm going with some girlfriends for a stamping/scrapbooking weekend away. We'll be gone from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon. I'm SO excited!! Here's where I need some advice. I'm hoping to start and finish my Christmas cards that weekend (I have the design finished but none made yet) but I'm afraid I'll get bored working on them. Do people bring multiple projects to work on? How should I transport all the stuff I'll need? What's a killer snack I can bring? The meals are included but I'm sure we'll want snacks and drinks!! I know it's all personal preference but I'm curious what other people do since this is my first time doing an overnight stamping thing! Thanks for your advice!

I'm doing this with my SIL and her neighbor in October. We divide up the meals. Yes, bring more than one project.

My SIL hosts at her house (sends her family to stay with Gramma and Grampa) so I don't have to bring all of my paper. I can just buy individual sheets from her. She also has most stamp pads and such.

So, my advice: talk to the other ladies. See if you can coordinate what you are bringing so that between the lot of you you'll have most of the ink colors and papers available without all of you having to bring duplicate stuff.
Bring a stamp set or two that you've been meaning to mess around with. Think through some ideas and bring a few embellishments.

Plan out any scrapbook pages as much as possible so you'll have the basics of what you might need.

Definitely bring your own paper trimmer, scissors, stamp scrubber and embellishments (hammer and setter, punches?).

Finally, make an entire Christmas card and every single thing you use pack it up.

I use my DH's freebie bags from conventions, but Crop n Style has several styles of bags for carting around your stuff.

Write your name on all of your stuff!

Take a bunch of your scraps with you, maybe a punch or two, and how about some old Christmas cards. If you get bored with your cards, make some Christmas gift tags. You can do them all different and use up some of your scraps and ribbon pieces.

For a snack....maybe some trail mix with nuts and chocolate???
