Default heat embossing question (DSP)

i've just tried to heat emboss with clear EP on SU! Berry Bliss DSP and it sorta just crystalized and blew off (??)

I've never had this happen on cardstock so I was wondering if this is a characterastic on DSP? Maybe heat embossing on paper in general?

any input appreciated!

Hmmm, I would make sure your Versamark isn't in need of a refill. You should be able to emboss without problem on DSP. I know I did with the Christmas Poinsetta paper we had 2 years ago.

I embossed with a craft ink and clear powder on Afternoon Tea ds paper last week and it came out fine. Try again! Maybe you were doing too large an area at once? If you want to emboss an all-over design with clear ink and clear powder, do only a few images at a time so your ink doesn't dry too much before you get the powder on. For best results, ink and emboss each image separately. More time but worth it!

no, that's really not the probllem. I did several different images and all of them on the one pattern (berry bliss with these brown dotted circles) the powder just sorta blew off in chunks. it was in versamark and I had just reinked it recentlyl.
