Default cleaning acrylic stamps

I am going to be doing a demo at AC Moore on Sunday using their acylic stamps. The girl in charge gave me a bunch of used acrylic stamps, but they don't seem to stick to the block. I don't think they have been taken care of. Is there a way to clean the back of acrylic stamps, you know the part that sticks to the block. I tried just water, and that didn't seem to help.

I've been told to place them in a collander/strainer, "swish" them in warm - not hot - sudsy water, rinse well, place on paper towel to air dry, sticky side up. HTH

Warm soapy water and rinse. Allow them to air dry and they shoud become 'sticky' again
