Default Too much stuff! I don't know what to do!

So I've finally completed one more scrapbook and decided to devote a bunch of time to making cards....but I'm having a hard time getting started just cause I have so much stuff and can do so many things. I'm largely trying to use up a bunch of my paper scraps.

Anyone else have this problem lately?

Totally..... I finally reorganized all my paper and created a folder that's bulging with paper scraps, die cuts I cut but never used, random embellishments, etc. I thought I would make cards with all of this random stuff but can't seem to coordinate anything even enough for a card. There's so much stuff it's just overwhelming!!

I've been trying to do this,too..use up scraps. I do put excess colored and patterned paper in folders and I usually check these first if I'm making something and need say a small plain piece of yellow or red or whatever...I've been trying to use inventive ways to use some of the smaller pieces, too but I think I'm going to give myself a time limit on these and throw out what I don't use after so many months..I get tired of looking through all the same odds and ends. And I have so much paper I'll never have a shortage...

In the gallery I did a search for "paper scraps". It came up with a bunch of cards using (what else) scraps of paper. Maybe looking at the cards will give you an idea or two .

No matter how much you use, it seems to replenish itself. A losing battle?

I always feel like I just create more scraps when I'm supposedly using them up! I've finally started throwing away smaller pieces than I used to and that helps some but I still have way too much. I'm thinking about donating everything to the grade school and starting over!

You can use scraps on quilt type cards.

maybe box up half of them and make a note on the calendar to "shop" your stash in 3 months.

Bwahahaha!! The "WAY TOO many" paper stacks I have are some how related to rabbits. I have enough dsp to wrap the globe with miles of ribbon to make a matching bow. Yes, I think it's a losing battle!!
