Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending December 19, 2010
This is our last Sunday before Christmas, so Merry Christmas!
Welcome one and all to the Clean and Simple Favorites of the Week Thread! Everyone is invited to share links to their favorite CAS projects from last week's gallery posts. I'll get us started!
debdeb's Kiss Kiss card is cute cute!
biggan made a wonderfully artsy and simple set, plus she totally rocked the OLW challenge this week with her painted wall words card
hskelly's fresh daisy card uses dp perfectly
KristaTracy's winter scene is simply lovely
krystie lee used pink on a fab Christmas card, and she colored her pinecone beautifully on her Thanksgiving card
lisaadd posted an adorable fish bowl card with awesome coloring on textured paper...so hard to do!
Heather T is sponging again...this time a winter scene for Christmas that is simply stunning in its peaceful mood
artystamper uses glitter and an embossed frame to make her simple card have max impact
keuby colored her warm mittens in a bright green with touches of pink for a super cute look
bkbaker1222 posted a bunch of cards she made using shades of blue, all of which are lovely, but this one is my favorite
designsbyjax used one of my favorite punchy card ideas with bright colors and a fab design that makes me happy just to look at it!
giogio's cardinal card is so fresh and clean...love the twine bow on it!
flatfish gold-embossed a wreath on textured shimmery cardstock and then accented with a shimmery sheer ribbon for a perfect finish
k dunbrook posted a stylish black and white winter scene with lovely use of texture and shape

Here are a few of my favorites from this week, if I get a chance I will add a few more later. Once again the gallery is full of beauty and inspiration.
Reddyiscocreated a totally original Santa card in non-traditional colours which really appealed to me and a funky striped butterfly.
LauriBColeman combined the gorgeous SU medallion with a music background; what a brilliant idea
Markie's Mom sponged a beautiful round ornament which looked stunning in gold on white.
Nancy Littrell created a classic CAS card featuring a crisp blue on white bird carefully cut and mounted on white.
Giogio also stamped a bird, this one is a stunning red cardinal shown off on a little foliage and a white base.
Kendra stamped the coolest row of lanterns which look like they really are swaying in the breeze.
Sharon layered script, flourish and flowers beautifully on her card, something I've tried to do with limited success. |
