Default Has anyone tried the pearl ex stamp pads?

They seem like they would be a lot less messy than normal pearl ex, but do they look as good? Any input would be appreciated!

I saw them at my local RSS and they did a quick demo for me. I wasn't impressed at all. I don't remember how much they were but i remember not being wowed enough to spend the money.

I am curious as to what others think

Edited to add.....actually I think the ones i saw were the opalite ones. I went to the joanns link and they didnt look like the ones i saw

gosh it's really early for me

IMHO... I woudlnt' bother with these. I bought intereference red, copper.. and one other ... I tried stamping the interference red with a leaf stamp on close to cocoa... you can't even see the image. I tried the copper... it barely shows up. (neither does the new Mica Magic pads either). I wish we carried the stargazer pallete or others like it... those are the best, or perfect pearls... both of which already have binders in them... and make wonderful paints.

Debbie (who buys at least one of every new toy and is sometimes sorry!)

Default Nothing worse...

Than when you buy something and it's not what you thought it would be. I've spent so much money on stuff like that I could kick myself. I think you hit a certain point where you start to become picky on what you purchase.
