I just found out this morning that my local scrapbook/stamping store is closing. I hate to think how far I'll have to drive or how much I'll have to pay in shipping to get supplies now :(
Sorry to hear that, Becky. Sounds like you'll have to drive to Columbia. Speaking of, I'll be in Columbia in a couple of weeks; are there any stamping/scrapping stores in Columbia -- other than the big box stores? I used to live there but it's been a l-o-n-g time.

Nope, not anymore. Just Michael's and HL. There's a small scrapbook store in Centralia. Not sure how much longer our little store in Mexico will be open.
I think the owners and a friend were at the Copic Certification and Splitcoast gathering we had in KC last October. Sweet ladies. I'm sad to hear that. :(
So sorry to hear this - my scrapbook store closed back in July and I still find myself thinking, oh, I should stop by.... I miss the people as much as I miss their treats!
Sad to hear! Wish you could come to St Louis sometime. We have several great places, not to mention Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Archivers and JoAnn's. We also have Red Lead in West County, the Ink Spot in Kirkwood, and Rock Paper Scissors on Main Street in St Charles.
I hear there is a nice LSS in South County too. I feel very lucky to have so many places in St Louis to check out! Going broke, but love it! Wish it were better for you folks in central Missouri!

My son is going to school at Meramec so I am aware of a few places in StL. I've been to For Keeps Sake and love the Inkspot! I'll have to get a list together of places to check out the next time I go visit.
I saw the owner today and found out it is not closing for financial reasons. She is just really tired. I could see how that happens, being the soul owner and putting in endless hours at work.
