Default Christmas Card sentiments ???

When you make your christmas cards, do you:

Buy a new inside sentiment every year?
Re-use sentiments you have used in the past?
Print a sentiment on your computer and insert in card?

What do you do?

I've done #1 & #3, I know someone who uses the same verse every year...

Looking for ideas...

Nicole

I usually just write a quick one or 2 sentences like "Wishing you a joyous Christmas and happy & healthy New Year" Love, Us.

I try to change it up a bit from year to year.

I put the generic "happy holidays" or "celebrate" or whatever on the inside, then write something personal. I've also used the verses from Versitile Verses before. I've reused them also, no one notices, except my Grandma because she keeps everyting I've ever made her! I've never done a computer generated sentiment for a card on the inside before... hmm....

I am all about using my computer for the inside of my cards! I write my personal message on the other inside page. It saves time but is still personal.

Me too! My insides are computer generated. With all the fonts to choose from, you can make the seniments match the mood of the card front. Usually I tie my inside greeting to the front as in, a mitten or snow stamp might say "warmest holiday wishes" . A tree or ornament stamp might say, Merry and Bright holidays etc. I ALWAYS do my insides on the computer. My "signature" is to include a poem or quote on the inside as well. Sometimes I go through mail order card catalogs for greetinig inspirations.

I only started stamping back in February so this is my first time making my Christmas cards.

I "borrowed" a sentiment from the SU! catalogue, had my husband print it on cardstock on the computer, and I put it in the card with brads.
I hand-wrote the names of who it was for and signed our names on the bottom of the cardstock.

I would use a different sentiment every year. I would notice if someone kept using a sentiment so I assume someone else would notice if I did.

I try to get a new Christmas saying every year, but also use ones I've bought in the past and also use computer-generated ones. So, I guess I do #1, #2 and #3.

With the SU-matched colors that you can do on your computer, it's really neat to match your CS to the color of ink on the saying.

I use both I guess. Last year I bought Season's Greetings, which is nothin' BUT Christmas sentiments. It has all different fonts and sentiment styles, so I can use it for just about any kind of card -- elegant, quirky, casual, whatever.

This year I bought a few Christmas sets and those have their own sentiments as well. Now, as my husband says, I have no need to EVER have to buy more. Uh huh........you betcha...

I've done all of these; but typically can't resist a new holiday sentiment each year!
