Christmas card question
I am in need of some honest input . Do you think it would be cheap to make just a card front for my Christmas cards? Most of the people we send cards to wouldn't even appreciate a handmade card, so I can't see 'wasting' card stock for a whole card. Am I just being cheap? Has anyone else ever done a card front? I would still stamp a sentiment on the back and sign it. Tell me what you think.

About half of my Christmas cards are card fronts this year. When I made this in the summer I was planning on giving them to my downline to use for display... and then I quit being an SU demo, so now I will send them out to people as my Christmas card.
I hope it's not tacky. ;-) |
I think that if you put your love and honest effort into them they'll work out great. There's no such thing as "cheap" when you've put your heart into it.

I think it's okay, It's just like a christmas post card! Imight send a few like that, as I'm getting low on paper!!
|
I think that's fine. Last year, I sent very simple cards. No layers. It was basically the natural cardstock, ink, and some *glitter*. I got good feedback from the stampers....

Thanks for the feedback. I feel better now! And I will be putting just as much effort into a card front (and back) as I would a full card--just not as much paper!!

You should tape a family photo or a pic of your kids to the back! :)

For people who don't appreciate handmade I would not even bother with cardfronts. Buy a box of Walmart cards and save the effort.
