SU should replace it... just have to pay a shipping fee on it... Just contact DS if you are a demo, if not get your demo to call and she can get it replaced for you. I have heard of others getting a stamp replaced off of here.
I'm so sorry. Is he puppy? I've got a beagle too he's 8 years old now. The best thing I discovered when my dog was in his heavy chewing stage was a red "kong" chew toy. It's shaped like a cone and has an opening inside. Every time we leave the house we stuff the kong with 2 "T-bone" treats and toss it to the dog on the way out the door. It keeps him satisfied for hours. Sometimes he even greets us at the door with it because he's unable to get the treat out. I would strongly recommend this toy. It's also his favorite play to because when you throw it it bounces in all directions. Seems to satisfy some of his hunting instincts. He sometimes pounces around it pretending to have caught something. Hope that helps, Nan
Dogs are great for eating stamps - I think the stamps call their names. Lets see my dog has eaten my stamps - eaten my bazzil (never the cheap stuff ya know) got into my 2 sided tape and had its body wrapped in it. Its a yorkie so was about 3 hours of working on him to get it off. He steals my ribbon every chance he gets...
I wouldn't tell SU the dog ate it but maybe the rubber/foam came apart?
Hope they replace it for you! I like that set better than the Basic and Bold set that I haven't mounted yet. I have 3 Beagles in the house, plus a Boxer mix that just turned a year old on Christmas (whose the chewer).
Goes after my husbands shoes if he leaves them laying around. So I guess my question is for anyone that has a dog in the house that is a chewer - why leave this stuff around where they can get at it?
A few years ago, SU would NOT replace missing stamps, etc. Recently they have changed their policy. I had one replaced last week, and just had to pay the $3.95 shipping charge. I had 2 alphabet letters replaced for a customer a couple of months ago.
**I did try to get a replacement stamp for a retired set, and they only hold the retired sets for 90 days after they become retired. They then donate them....they did check both areas for me, but no stamp set!
Mikey, our 6 month old beagle must be from the same family as Cooper! What is it about these very adorable dogs that makes them chew like it's going out of business? But you gotta love them no?
My dog got ahold of my Your Invited stamp for my AYC2 but she didn't do any damage to the rubber I figured I wouldn't even deal with it. I'm mad at my dog this morning for another reason. I got up this morning and discovered she had left me a little gift in the kitchen. Not something you want to discover at 5:45am. She has been outside since. Bad Gracie!
I recently called demo support to to replace a letter u that had mysteriously disappeared at a house I was doing a workshop at. The girl who answered told me they would replace it for a fee THIS TIME (very rudely if I do say so myself) I just had to pay the shipping. Moral of the story... don't take the letter U to a persons house that starts with the letter U because NEXT TIME they won't replace it!
