Challenges?
Hi everyone,
I am certainly not stamping as much as I wish to, and unfortunately, my supplies are just sitting. I'm a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and I have a very neglected blog... I was hoping that if I participated in challenges I'd be stamping some more. Besides the challenges here on SCS, where do you participate, and why do you like that particular challenge? I've played in the Play Date Cafe before which is a color challenge group, and those ladies are super sweet, I've also played with Pals Paper Arts. What others do you suggest? Thanks in advance so much! Melissa |
I like (and you can google them....I'm on my iphone and can't link):
Freshly made sketches Colour Q The Paper Players Hand Stamped Sentiments - I'm on the DT:-) Create with Connie & Mary These are the ones I play most often! |
Thank you! I just found Colour Q on Pinterest, but I'll check into the rest!
|
I keep a list of the ones I participate in and when I participate in a new one I add it to my list. Check out the "Blogs I follow" page on my blog, Cuts, Crops and Creativity! for the list.

Sketch challenges are my favorites. Here are a few I have bookmarked:
The Sweet Stop Mojo Monday Deconstructed Sketch iSpy Sketches and other non-sketch challenges I like: Flutterby Wednesday's iCopic Lover CAS-ual Fridays Can't wait to see what others recommend... I love a good challenge! :) |
I have gotten into a habit of saving challenges to my google reader and make a folder for each day of the week; however, I do both digital and regular stamping. It's a great tool for checking on challenges regularly. Doing a google search byu daily challenges, is a great way to find challenges
here are a couple for monday challenges: Cards Created by Liz Weber: Flourish With A Bling Challenge http://outlineswithkathy.blogspot.com/2012/02/challenge-39-color-combo-challenge.html[/url] |

If you like the CAS style, the Less is More blog is popular - weekly challenge with a different take each week (colour, one layer, theme, sketch/recipe). For example, this week is one layer week and the theme is stripes. Here's the link: Less is More
Hope you find something to get you stamping! |
Here are a couple of sunday challenges
Stampin Sisterhood: IT'S CHALLENGE DAY!! http://sentimentalsundays.blogspot.c...ped-cards.html |
|
Check out the Daily Dare:
The Daily Dare They list all the challenges by day, you will find TONS listed. |
I had never participated in any challenges until I did the Hope You Can Cling To challenges to support breast cancer awareness month last October. It was a blast!! I swore that I would continue doing challenges after that month was over because I felt it really made me stretch creatively. Unfortunately, I've only done a couple of challenges here on SCS since then. Have you checked out the challenge thread on here? There's a challenge for every day of the week :-)

I haven't heard of any of the sites mentioned, thank you to all who replied offering their suggestions. I'll check these out, too.

Didn't realize until I was attempting to go through feline play site; how many challeges are digital images. I much prefer to save my daily challenges to a google reader, and have a select few good ones. I can't imagine how much time she spent getting that list together each week......

You are all fabulous! Now, how to choose.... :) Thank you! My supplies thank you too!
