Default Inspiration from catalogs, fabrics??

I just picked up the Pottery Barn Kids catalog and holy cow, do they have some great fabrics for their bedding in there!!!!

I can't afford to get a lot of things there but I am keeping for ideas, inspiration. I think some of the fabrics can be inspiration for stamping? Any others that you collect for inspiration? Fabrics, designs?

As a side note, I can't believe the egg tree is going for 49.99 -- I can twist wire or go out my back door to pick up a stick and decorate that, or go to the dollar store for something like that! LOVE the catalog but sometimes their prices are nuts!

Oh other catalogs I like to keep are the catalogs from Children's Place because their clothes have cute designs as well --

I get color inspiration from Pottery Barn all the time! One of the cards in my gallery borrows colors from a bedroom set in their late winter Teen catalog - Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I also tend to do the opposite. I'll get color ideas from scrapbook paper or scrap/stamp mags, and use them to design web sites or decorate the house.

Default Inspiration Challenges...

Every Saturday Karen, (kthaman), posts a challenge to create a card based on inspiration of a common item. Sometimes it's a skirt or a pillow. Sometimes a piece of art or maybe an ad from a magazine. It's lots of fun to play along and see where your imagination takes you.
