Welcome to SCS, Joanna!!! Good question. At various times this topic has been discussed muchly....lol. CASE - copy and share everything. No you cannot copy the actual photos! You cannot post a copied photo anywhere. As far as the inspiration from the cards and projects generous folk share here.....by inspired, copy a card or project for your own enjoyment - but not to profit from.
I am inspired by so much art here - and most of the time change up the colors or stamp sets or tweek the layout design. If you CASE a card to share with others in the workshop setting then please give proper credit to the artist who shared it on SCS.
I hope that is the info your after and this is just "my take". I'm sure some others will chime in with their thoughts
Again, welcome and enjoy....

May I make a suggestion? If there is a card that you love and you want to use it for something other than sending it to your family or friends...just PM or email the creator of the card and ask them. I think this is always the best method. And it also lets the creator know that they have inspired someone!
If it weren't for the inspiration I get from the postings in the galleries, I'd be lost. I am so uncreative but I sure can copy (well, not exactly copy but extract ideas) :>)

Doesn't that mean that SU Demonstrators cannot copy cards from here for use on their display boards or for use in workshops, classes, etc? Being a SU Demonstrator is a "for profit" thing.
Just curious... I don't see the difference between a SU demo copying a card for their business use and anyone else copying a card for profit.

I think the same holds true for demos. Contact the original artist

Yes, I know what you mean. I've sat at the computer to "just look at something really quick" and 2 or 3 hours later I'm still looking and reading. I love it!!
Thanks for the advice. If I find something that I want to post on my website I will definitely email the creator and ask first. But I was mainly wondering about printing out a picture and showing it in a workshop in case I didn't have time to CASE and tweak it myself (show it as an example, not a make n take). But either way, I'll double check 1st.

Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to actually ask about this first!! That said, I don't know how many folks would give permission to have a printout of a card from their gallery used at a workshop; personally, I don't think I would. Don't SU demos receive a monthly magazine that contains samples in it? I think that would be a better avenue to pursue if you just wanted to show an image of a card and not an actual card.
