Default Enabler's Appreciation Day

I just have to say that I have tried to avoid all of you well meaning enablers out there, but you finally got me!!

After years of being an SU snob, I received my very first TAC stamps yesterday and they are just too dang cute!

Thanks to all of you who kept talking about TAC until I HAD to give in!!

YAY! I'm so glad you liked them... and to think you probably could have held off a little longer if SOMEONE hadn't brought TAC stamps to your friendly neighborhood stamping night

Which sets did you get? I got Boyz & Girlz, among others. I just love those goofy little kids (or should I say "kidz"?!).

If that's the set I am thinking of- it's adorable, but I call them pirate kids- they all look like they have hooks for hands!

I know you didn't ask me but I just got Mister Penguin yesterday- I have never stamped anything winter related at all (since I don't scrapbook or do Christmas cards) but these Penguins were SO SO SO adorable, I had to order them. I'm hoping to make coasters as Christmas gifts.

I really love any and all of the sets with the little girl from the Funky Girlfriends set. One of the things I appreciate about TAC is that they have kids that look a little more ethnic and not just little white kids ;). Not that I don't like both but it is nice to have the variety to choose from. Plus how cute are those girls?! My daughter resembles her and I am trying to collect all of them so I can do a whole scrapbook with the same little girl reoccuring.

I'm a SU demo, but I love TAC too. I really love the unmounted aspect, I just zip thru cards. Plus, it's always nice to play with new rubbah!

I got the What's Moo? set - there's just something about those cows that I find irresistable, and blossom builders. I will try to make some cards and upload soon! Can't wait to play, but today was a no-play day for me, stamping-wise. It was my b-day and dh planned a perfectly relaxing spa day for me - he's a keeper! So, play day is tomorrow!

That would be so cool! I would love to see your card...is it somewhere that customers can view or is it on the demo side?

OK - now I have to know (have these!)

My girls are mixed and they LOVE the old SU set with the kids in the blow up pool. Is is Funky Girlfriends I have to get? Is is a series that they release new stamps each catalog? SOMEONE - fill me in!

BTW: Used to live in Coralville - so next time I visit I'm looking you girls up.

Yeah, my wallet is way thinner because of this site! I swore I would NEVER (ha!) be a demo, but TAC called my name, LOUDLY! My latest SCS-inspired buy was the tonic paper cutter - that thing rocks!!

I've been eyeing What's Moo since the new catty came out. I've resisted so far but you ladies aren't helping! I'm terribly anal, and it bothers me that y'all is spelled ya'll. Is that weird? Sigh.

That bugs me too!! I thought that y'all is a replacement for you all, but ya'll would be a replacement for ya all - not how I would normally say it. I probably won't use that phrase for cards being sent to my inlaws (rodeo and country folk) - they just might take me around back and cow tie me! ;)

Okay for dansah let me give you some examples of the sets I like from TAC

Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

imagine the girl in the middle with darker skin and hair.

Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

don't you think these girls can be ethnic with the right coloring or white? There is a bunch of sets with this same little girl one is ballet, iceskating, hawaii grass skirt tropical playing in the sand, and some Christmas tags. I am trying to collect them all so I have many to choose from. I think she is just too cute!

I agree--we used to have babies too. In fact, since they're in last yr's catty, you can still order them. With the right skin color and hair color, they could be ethnic too. :-)
