I use to be a su demo and now have been out of the loop for a few years due to health....I would really like to know what everyone is using for cardstock...I need some red!....lol....I searched for su demo's in my area and there are none closer than 2 hours..which is fine but I thought I would ask what else is around ... I remember GinaK????....and there were some others?..thanks!

For colored card stock, I prefer Stampin' Up!
For white, I like the Recollections 110lb. Cardstock from Michaels or Georgia-Pacific White Cardstock Paper 110lb. from Walmart.

I think that SU has great card stock. Also My Favourite Things as well as Paper Trey carry great quality card stock.

I think SU's Real Red and Cherry Cobbler are still two of the prettiest reds available to use at Christmas.
My next fav as far as color selection just from looking online would be Gina K. She has a great selection of reds. Her card stock is heavier weight than SU. I have not purchased a red from her specifically; but a few years ago I purchased an Autumn release kit that came with a few different solid colors and all were heavy, "base weight" card stock.
Papertrey Ink has a color called Pure Poppy but that is it for what I would consider a Christmas red.
If you don't want to wait for shipping, and have a store like Michael's or Hobby Lobby near you I think Bazzill makes a very pretty red for Christmas. The weight is lighter than SU's colored card stock if that matters to you.

Debi, if you found a SU demo a few hours away, could your order be shipped directly to you? I am not a demo so perhaps that is a silly question? or become a demo again maybe

I buy cardstock from both SU and Gina K. They're both great, in my opinion.

You can order from SU and have it shipped directly to you. I love that as I have a customer who lives in WI and I'm in PA. Makes life easier for her to order and pay online.
I LOVE Cherry Cobbler - definitely my FAVORITE red. I even painted my front door that color (or as close as possible!)

I love textured coloured paper, so I always go to Amazon and look for canvas-textured red Bazzill. Right now I have Bazzill's canvas-texture Maraschino for my reds.

While I really like SU's Real Red, Gina K's Cherry Red is very close in color. All of her paper is top notch.

SU here too! That's all I use for CS. I have two demos that have classes I go to. I'm going to start a third demos classes! I don't go to them each month. Wish I could share some demos with you. I'm in a rural area too....but I guess not overly rural or maybe rural enough that there isn't anything else to do but make cards! Hahahaha~
