card storage??

I'm sure this has been asked before, but, since alot of us make cards as often as we can, what do you do with them if you don't give them away?Do you store them in something or do you give every one away...?

I like CD boxes for card storage. I have several like this: CD box from Container Store

I have a 6x6 3-ring SU album with lots of page protectors in it. I just put several cards in each protector, organized by theme. This way, I can see what I have and it's quick to pick one out to give.

I just use the photo boxes you can get at Joann's/Michael's for like $4 /per box.

I have the Forget-me-not keeper from SU. You can find this at your LSS also. To give some business to my local CM demo, I got one of the mini power sorts for photos. Previous to these things, I used (and still have) the plastic 4x6 index card boxes. When I make cards, I have a tendency to make a lot of the same card at a time so I can stock pile for when I don't have time to make more.

I use one of these boxes - I'm thinking I might need another one soon. I mostly make 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and they fit perfectly. I sectioned it off using some heavy cardboard so I have sections for birthday, thinking of you, blank, etc. Then I put the cards in on their long side so I can just flip through them when I need one. With the lid they stay dust-free and I don't have to worry about fading from the sun. These boxes are often on sale and come in all colors and patterns. I love them.

Me too. And sometimes they are on sale for something like 3 for $5

I bought a spinning card rack. Just cuz it made me happy. I put them in the plastic sleeves to keep the kids' handprints off and then in the rack!

I store mine in a decorative box I got at Hobby Lobby, divided by occasions. and yes, I make my cards to send, so I'm in there a lot to find the perfect card =)

I found a container in the plastic bin/cover at Walmart. It maybe is intended for 'under the bed storage?' Low. I can store 100+ cards in each for about $4 (as you can see, I keep plenty on hand for use and for selling).

Perfect and inexpensive!

I like some of the other choices shared, but I would have each of those filled in one hour! Then what???? :)
