Default Help with scrapbook page pricing --

Someone has asked me for a quote on doing some 8.5 x 11 scrapbook pages for her. She will provide all of the materials, so the quote is for labor only. Has anyone ever priced this out? I was thinking around $8 per page. Too much or too little?

TIA,

Karen

$8 sounds reasonable, if you're sure it is enough. How long do you spend doing a page? All of the time, including the thinking, planning, shopping (or is she doing that?) cutting and attaching. Figure out how long it takes you to do a page and then go from there. Minimum wage is $5.15 an hour, but around here, you won't get a job at MickeyD's for less than $8-9 an hour, and that job takes no creativity.
Make sure you are being fair to yourself, so you won't wind up resenting the project and her.
You can always give her a discount or something extra (like a couple of note cards) at the end if you feel like you've over-charged, but you'll have no option if you've under-charged.

Good luck!
