Default Card Help

Hi ladies -

I'm looking for a little advice. I'm attending my very first SCS gathering and need to come up with a card for my shoebox swap. I'm thinking about using an idea I already created but I would like some opinions on if you were going to the swap - which card would you want to make or should I make a new one.

I think my cards are a little on the simple side and I don't want to disappoint anyone at the swap. If you can think of anything that would jazz up the other cards that would be great advice too.

Card 1 - Frosty

Card 2 - Ornaments

Card 3 - Thanks a bunch w/ tag

Card 4 - Bold Butterfly Birthday - Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Thanks in advance ladies!

All your cards are great! The only thing I can think of is perhaps using a piece of coloured cs for the folded card instead of white. Using a contrasting colour makes a big difference. My favorite is the Christmas one. Perhaps even using some wire to "attach" the Christmas decorations would look great too! They are all great though! Have fun at the gathering!

I'm partial to the Bold Butterfly card. I think it's cute just the way it is but if you feel you want to jazz it up a bit, you could add a thin mat of mellow moss to the lovely lilac one and stamp the happy happy birthday in basic black instead of eggplant envy. Either way, I like your card and think that your fellow swappers would too.

PS - I love the 'time flies' saying at the bottom of your post!

I loke your cards! Simple is good! I am a very simple stamper & I get caught up in trying to make things to complicated.
My fave is the ornament card but my favorite set is Bold butterfly.
Do what you want & have fun with it!

I really like the colors of the Ornament card. I think it would look fabulous in the sketch challenge 17 layout. Here is the link to see what I'm talking about.

Thanks Judy - I was just thinking it looked similar to the Sketch Challenge for last week.

Thank you all for your ideas.
