Default Archivers, where'd the online store go?

I just went to search the online store for archivers and found I couldnt find it from their homepage. Did they do away with it I guess?

I didn't think they had an online store just an informational site, like Michaels. But I may be wrong...

I just received an e-mail from them advertising about making calendars for next year, supplies for it etc...I think it is just an information only thing and not to sell things on. www.archiversonline.com ,I believe is the address. The Archiver's here in Overland Park, KS., is still very much open.

Our Archivers in the Chicago suburbs seems to be doing fine as well. I'll admit to being at least partially responsible for that.

I was told they use to have an online store but no longer have it. However the "brick and mortar" stores are still around. I visit mine almost daily. LOL!

Archivers closed thier on-line store earlier this year. I do believe it was due to low sales on-line and high shipping costs. Personally I only purchased something on-line once because it was sold out in the store. The on-line store did not have half of what they have in the stores. Archivers is still very much in business. I don't think they will ever close.

Does anyone know if they are a public company? I think I'd buy stock in it.

The one that closed was Recollections. It was a part of Michaels.

I'm a customer that could keep at least one store open!! One thing's for sure, I could never work there ~ I'd have to pay THEM to work there as I'd never have a paycheck!

Silly question but can you buy stuff at Archivers? I looked online and it looks like all they offer is classes. Am I wrong? (Can you tell I've never been :-D)

Besides having classes it's a full fledge store. They sell rubber and acrylic stamps, cardstock, dsp, ink, embellishments . . . basically everything.
