Default Candle Question

I'm wondering if anyone out there has ever made a unity candle for a wedding? I want to make one, and I've done alot of candles where you stamp onto tissue paper and apply with the heat tool, but I'd like to personalize this with a verse and thier names and wedding date, and can't think of how to print onto tissue paper!

I was thinking about trying something with vellum, but not sure how to adhere it to the candle. I want to also do some decorating with stamped images on tissue paper also.

Anyone ever done this or have any suggestions? Would appreciate hearing from you if you have. Thanks so much!

I printed on some tissue paper for another project and I ironed it to freezer paper first. I cut the freezer paper to 8-1/2 x 11 and then cut the tissue that size and fed it through my printer with no problem.

Not that this helps at all but I saw a candle with an actual picture of the couple. Here is the link to that member's gallery:

I made a candle with a picture of my kids. I printed on the tissue paper by taping a piece of tissue paper to regular paper and put it through the printer.

Good Luck - and be sure to post the final product, I'd love to see it.
