Canadians - Who's buying now that the $ is above par?

I just checked my visa statement and an order I placed the other day actually cost less than I expected because our dollar is above par. YAY!!! Its not huge, but at least I don't feel ripped off ordering stuff from across the border now. I've been saving some money and I may have to see what I need/want and what's sitting in some of my wishlists.

I am hoping that the dollar holds for a little while longer so that I can place some orders when my tax refund gets here. I love shopping across the border when we are at or above par.

I live in Canada and live on the US border. I skip over to Michigan every 1 or 2 weeks. Love to shop at JoAnns, Hobby Lobby, Mary Maxum and Barnes and Noble. Even have a Sams Club membership.

I wish... Its about an 6-8 hour drive to the nearest "big" town in Montana for me. I don't even know if they have any of those stores in Great Falls - I've never been there...

I live about 1 hour from the border, I plan on putting in a $500-600 order in April or May and have it shipped to a pick-up place that's only a minute drive in the US so I'll get free shipping. I can hardly wait!! All that paper, stamps, buttons, ribbon, acccccccccccccck, I want to order it NOW!
