Default Crumb Cake the new Kraft?

I haven't used SU colors in a while so to my surprise Kraft is gone. I'm wondering if Crumb Cake is the closest to Kraft they have.

Yes - it's the same cardstock. I think they just wanted a proprietary name for it.

They also used to offer their old Kraft cs in 50 sheet packs, now all you can get is the usual 24 and it has gone up in price. Darn inflation.

I thought the Kraft had a different texture to it than Crumb Cake did...maybe the paper I have is not from SU? I had bought a "lot" on Ebay and it said that it had both of those in it. The Crumb Cake was more like cardstock and the Kraft was more rough and a totally different color; more like paper bag color. Hmm, guess they were not so honest with their listing

I had an unopened pack of Kraft when I got the new pack of Crumb Cake. It was pretty much the same. I also remember it being a bit sturdier but I think that was quite a while ago.

It seems the same to me. I call crumb cake "The cardstock formerly known as kraft" just a little SU humor

I order a lot of cardstock from SU but Crumbcake has always seemed a little blah to me. I want it to be more "kraft-ish". I ordered PTI's Kraft and like it better. So I use that.

But I love the Crumbcake ink.

Same deal with Soft Suede. Love the ink, the cardstock - eh.
