Default Lost my Scraptivity

What do you do when you run out of creative juice? I tried to scrap earlier and nothing flowed, tried a card and nothing matched, made a box and didn't like it. Now I am off to work and want to scrap when I get home. So, what do you do to get back in the groove? Please help!!!

Do exactly what you are doing now!! Work, then get back to the scrapping. It will flow better next time. We all have times like that, so just take a step back, then go back to it later!! You'll be fine!!! Karen.

I'll usually read a crafting magazine, lift something from there or a website, or close the door to my scrap room entirely and take a break for a day or two (or more if needed). Sometimes shopping for new supplies gives me just the lift I need ;) dont pressure yourself, this is a hobby to have fun with

I usually go back to my pictures and start organizing them. Give myself a break from scrapping and I get so sick of the organizing that I find it such a relief to back to the scrapping that is more fun ;) and the ideas start to pour out.

I go window shopping, through home decorating mags or other magazines that catch my eye. Something will usually catch my eye...colors I wouldn't put together myself or amazing textures/patterns. Gets me all fired up on color again. Your scraptivity is merely taking a break!

I go to my demonstrators house and play around in her craft room and look at her stuff....usually leads to oooooooooo and ahhhhhhhhhhh, then gets me in the mood. I find I go through periods like that a couple times a year and am trying to come out of a slump myself. I have also found doing one of the SCS challenges can help too.

I usually either find an idea in one of my idea books, or from here at SBS and CASE it. Then I find another one and make myself change one or two things... it usually get's me feeling more creative and jump starts my own ideas!

I reorganize my stuff. This takes a while, as I have lots of stuff, and by the time I've finished, I'm just dying to DO something with it all! I also read mags and books to get a jumpstart.
