I sat down today to start doing my ornaments when an idea just popped into my head. Instead of stamping an image on the acetate, I got my kids to each draw pictures - they are only 6 and 4 - so their drawings are just so simple and cute. Then I put the acetate in the bauble added some beads and some straw type stuff which is white - added a bow to the top and they honestly made adorable little christmas ornaments for their teachers. Thought others might like to try this!
As I was making the stamped acetate last night for the ornaments, my DH asked if I could make an ornament for each of our grandkids with their picutre on the acetate (transparency sheet)! And, you know, I think that's possible, so I'll be working on that this weekend! Of course, I'll stamp an image with each picture. Husbands do come up with some good ideas!

I have loved these glass ornamnets in the gallery with the acetate inside. Could someone share directions/sizes? I know to use staz on ink. What about coloring, size to make acetate and getting the acetate into the ornament? I'm a step by step type person Thanks for sharing!
I had the same idea for an ornament for my boss. We work in a satellite facility which has a huge 60 ft antenna. I got a picture off the website, printed it out on a transparency and will put it in a glass ornament w/white beads or something for snow. I am excited to try it. We are SO smart!!!!!
