Question Portland Stamping Stores...

Hi,

I am going to be visiting Portland, Oregon on August 18 - 20, are there any stamping stores I should check out?

Thanks in advance.

The only one I knew of in Portland was First Impressions, but I hear it is closing, if it hasn't already by now . . . :(

Art Impressions is over in Salem--I'm not sure if they have a retail outfit there or how far that is from Portland, tho . . . ???

They have their own line of *very* fun rubbah stamps! ;)

It's been quite awhile since I was there, but on my favorites list is:

First Impression at 4803 NE Fremont (www.firstimpression.net)
Peddler's Pakc 4570 SW Watson in Beaverton
(www.peddlerspack.com)
Scattered Pictures 119th Airport Blvd.
Impressing Ideas 1409 Broadway, Vancouver, WA

Salem is about 45 minutes from Portland. I can tell you that you would probably not find anything in Salem that you can't find in Portland. Just an opinion. Look in the Yahoo yellow pages for scrapbook and stamping stores. Maybe some of them have websites.

There is Stamp a de do da in the Milwaukie area. Peddler Pack is quite good and so is the one in Vancover that was listed above. I really liked Second Childhood in the Lake Oswego area but she is moving. I don't believe Art Impressions in Salem has a storefront any longer. There is Stampin Cat which is a cute little shop in the Salem area. Scattered Pictures is primarily a scrapbooking shop but she carries some fun lines of stamps. Art house is another primarily scrapbooking shop that has some stamps I believe it's broadway.
