Default Burned Batik technique-didn't work!

I really wanted to try that burned batik technique, so I carefully followed the instructions. I did not get a white outline where I stamped. I am assuming it was the stamps I used. I first tried a fern leaf. Then I tried a pear. I did get a bit of white showing through from the cardstock, but not a lot. I did heat it enough so I saw the image wet through the other side.

Any ideas??

Denise
p.s. who asks more questions on this forum! Sorry!!!!
