Default Ribbon Help

If you have a ribbon laying flat across the front of your card, do you wrap it around the back or cut it off at the edges of the card? I can't tell from the pictures in the gallery. I would think it's hard to cut the ribbon exactly but some of these cards have the ribbon so flat!

Does it make a difference if the ribbon is tied into a knot/bow? In that case, would it be wrapped around the back or cut off at the edges?

I've been putting bows on top of the card but I've never done a ribbon across the card before. Thanks so much for your help!

if my ribbon is going around a layer, i usually cut it off a little after the edge, and tape it to the back. i dont like to cut it at teh edge.. cause it may fray.

if it is the whole card, i usually just carry it around the entire card... then tie a knot or bow.
