Default Bridal Invitation Help Needed.....

A friend asked me to help her make 30 invitations to a bridal brunch...here's the hitch....the bride picked this pretty expensive restaurant. The hostess really just wants to organize the shower, purchase the invitations, and supply the cake/dessert.

Does anyone have a good and polite way to say that (each guest will be responsible for their own meal) on the invitation?

Thank you for your help...I am hoping to give her some sample invitations and wording tomorrow....

Kristen

Tact isn't my strong suit. I'd be direct... You are responsible for your own meal. Dessert, etc is provided by hostess.

we will be serving dessert!
it seems better to say what they WILL get instead of stating what they WON"T get. just my opinion!

i've had to do this before and this is how i worded it! hope this helps!
