Default Christmas card question

This may sound weird but has anyone done any Christmas cards using their stamps but also incorporating a picture? I would like to make my cards with my stamps, but I always just make a card with a picture of my boys. Any thoughts? I am willing to buy a new stamp set, *wink wink*, so if anyone can give me some suggestions I would be very greatful.

Search the gallery for "Christmas Photo". It will give you extra examples, like scrapbook pages too, BUT you can glean a few cards from the batch.
Here are a couple...

I do it every year. I haven't scanned any and put them in my gallery but I should. I don't have kids but my family and friends know that my dog is my baby so I use her picture every year. Last year I used the Snowflakes set with a picture of my girl in the snow all happy and everything. I used Night of Navy cardstock with silver ink for the snowflakes and a silver bow. I like the way they turned out. This year I'm planning to do a pocket card with her picture on the tag inside, but I'm not sure yet which set I want to use. I did order the paper for it last week, though (always artichoke/rose red). If I can find last year's card, I'll scan it and put it in my gallery.

I always like to use a photo, too. I am also planning some kind of pocket card with the photo on a tag- I am still deciding on the stamp set. Here is my card from last year:

Kathy, that's a really nice card, I may case that one. Thank you.

Monica, please do scan your card. I may have to learn how to make a pocket card, that could be fun this year.

Thanks again for all the help. I need to decide what to make and start buying.
