Default Print Pattern stamp question..

Has anyone had a problem with mounting the "Print Pattern" stamp? I have cut mine down REALLY close and went to lay it on the block and it hangs over the edge of the block a bit going the "long" way. Luckily I haven't peeled the backing off yet. It will drive me CRAZY if I have to have part of the stamp hang over the edges. Sometimes I wonder why they have to cut it so close when matching the block to the image.

Just wondering if anyone else had this problem and what you did to correct it. Thank you!!

Mine sticks off the block a tiny bit... drives me nuts, too, but it hasn't affected the stamped image at all.

When I trimmed mine I actually trimmed around the diamonds at either end, very closely. That helped enough that the stamp now goes EXACTLY end to end without going over. But I mean RIGHT on the ends.

Mine must have been defective! I cut it really close and when I mounted it it fit on the block all 4 sides with just a teensy bit of wood still showing. I don't have an explanation because none of my diamonds are nicked off or anything.

I just got this stamp on Friday and it fit fine. However, I had this problem with Fine Lace. It hangs over the edge a little bit, but I still get a really nice image. Just bugs me a little, because I like everything to line up nice.

Sounds like SU has a wobbly saw blade. Not all the wood pieces come out exactly the same.

My print pattern is fine. If yours isn't you should contact your demo for an exchange.

I mounted this stamp for my friend. And I had to cut around the diamonds on each end, just as someone mentioned earlier. The pattern covers the entire block.

Is the image large enough to cover the entire card front or is the wood block just being cut smaller?

I had this problem as well, and I cut it as close as I could to all the diamonds. It fits RIGHT on each edge now. It was weird because I have never had this happen with any of my background stamps.
