Default Borrowing photos with or without permission

I am looking to put together a slideshow presentation for my laptop. I was wondering about the right way to borrow photos for something like this. Do I ask permission of people to borrow images from the Gallery?
Also...I would like to put the person's NAME and not their User ID on the photos....
So I guess getting permission and their name would be simultaneous. I guess I just need to work on the proper way to ask for the permission.
....am I making sense? I am working on little sleep. Stress headache when I go to bed then the youngest DS has been coming in at night and he is a kicker....
Thanks for your input and patience with reading my garbalage(i just made that word up I think)

What a neat idea! I would definitely ask the person's permission. Just email them and let them know what you're planning to do, could you use their picture if you put their name under it (to give them proper credit).

You also will probably need to put SU's copyright underneath too.

Good luck! And I'm with you about lack of sleep. We have cold's making the rounds of our house so nobody's sleeping! cough cough.

Make sure you submit your presentation to SU for approval before you plan on showing it. I know someone who did a similar display, she got permission, but another demonstrator still tried to turn her in. Luckliy, she already had permission so it wasn't an issue.

She didn't use other people's work, only her own, then she filmed her grandkids showing how to stamp and explaining about their scrapbooks. Her presentation was very cute. I think she had slides that talked about SU, stamping, hosting workshops, etc.
