Question block party

Hi everyone,

Does any one have a suggestion for a block party invitation? I have been trying to come up with something neat and I haven't decided how I want to do it yet!!!! Any suggestions are welcome and THANKS in advance. I thought about taking squares punched out and writing "it's a block party" on them but don't know what to put in the background.

While I was trying to do a search for block party invitation ideas, I came across a website that suggested an information sheet that should be given to all the families who plan to participate. I thought this was a fantastic idea:

P.S. That is a link to a pdf file, so you will need adobe to open it.

Here is an actual printable block party invitation that I found at the Canon Printer site that may give you an idea for a layout. It also may be something you can just print off as is, or maybe add a few embelishments or stamps (another pdf file).

Smile block party

Thanks I printed that out and I'll check with the others on the committee to see what they what to add or delete. We just moved into a condo sub division last year. They have just finished and sold the last of the 25 units so we are looking forward to the get together.

Thanks alot for your information

Oops, sorry, that was the same link for the block party detail sheet. Here is the invitation from the Canon site:
