Default Help with eyelets!

Okay, so I have my Silent Setter and I'm getting real good at punching holes and setting eyelets. Now what I'd like to know from all you helpful ladies is how do I go about placing the eyelets properly on the card? Do you use a ruler and mark in pencil where you want the eyelets to go so that they are aligned properly? Inquiring minds want to know! :-)

Thanks so much!
Anne

I use Stampin' Up!'s paper-piercing template that's in their Crafters' Tool Kit. I love it...will never have crooked eyelets again!

Oh, wow, this looks great! I had been contemplating buying the crafter's kit from SU but I really don't need all the tools. But this sounds kinda like the template Stephanie mentioned comes in the kit. Anyway, I just placed an order for one of the Eyelet Friends. I'll let you know how it works out!

I just checked that out, very cool! It looks like it works just like the SU template. I would go with that if you already have the other tools in the SU kit.

Thanks for the info. I just ordered me one. I'm tired of crooked eyelets too.

Thanks,
Marlene

Smile Eyelets

Another little idea...use the top of your SU order sheets, the piece with the holes and use that as your guide for straight line eyelets. We all have these around, cheap and easy. Great tip to give out at workshops!

Wink Eyelet Setter Guide

If you know a SU demonstrator, there is another great (AND FREE) tool - the top of your order form!!!

This is fantastic. I am a demo and I share lots of good ideas with my customers - they just love this. Especially because they can get several from me to take home and cut them down to the card sizes they like to use.

This works for brads too!
