Eww, guys...
I seriously get the chills every time I look at it... and yet I keep looking at it.

I PROMISE you all this is no set up. I am her Demo and friend. She is completely on the level. She called me first before even posting. We were totally cracking up about the whole thing. She removed the bug herself and has happily stamped with her BUG-free Big Blossom since finding and removing the creature.
I did email demo support right away with the picture. It would certainly be nice if they gave her something but she is not expecting anything and is happy that the stamp is totally fine. LOL
I can't imagine what it would be like to pull off the paper and see that - LOL and whoever said thank goodness she didn't have to cut through it while trimming... YES - that would be even worse! LOL Imagine blissfully trimming your rubber and CRUNCH! Ew! Really the whole thing is just too funny!

Disgusting!!!! Although I have to say, if it were my customer, I would be giving her a complimentary set of "Bugs and Kisses" just for laughs.

Oh my gosh! That is too funny! I bet it happens more often than we would like to know. It's probably caught before it gets passed on to the consumer.

I would have probably screamed, jumped out of my chair and clattered to the floor in a heap....DBF would have laughed at me....then taken care of the funeral and finished mounting my stamp. He's just so good like that. Hehe.

I saw the disgusting thing yesterday, and ever since then I've been paranoid about mounting my stamps! I'm getting new rubber on Wednesday and I am so afraid to even open it! I wish I was living in ignorance again...

FYI: (I'm the demo of the customer with the bug)
Just got an email from Demo Support...
They "are not aware of any additional issues where stamps have arrived with an insect attached to the rubber". They are going to replace that set for her. That's nice. It wasn't a big deal to her and she has been using it since freeing that sucker from the foam. BUT she did say it left a decent sized divot in the foam so I am going to go through with the replacement b/c over time that divot in the foam may cause the stamp to ink/stamp unevenly.

You know the bug was a HERO...he/she gave his/her life for the good of Stampin Up...and all we can do is judge him/her. All he/she wanted was to be an integral part of Stampin Up!

Ok - here's something to really gross all your squeamies out there...My husband used to work in a feed mill when we were newlyweds and there were often bugs in the cuffs of his pants, in his lunchbox and in his hair when he came home! Glad he only worked there 3 months!
