Default best way to adhere ribbon?

I am wondering what you guys use to adhere ribbon. I like glue dots but they leave an impression and it doesn't look so hot. I have just about every adhesive known to man but I can't figure this one out! HELP!

I use double-sided tape or my vellum tape. Works like a charm.

I use a relatively new product called Crop & Glue. It comes in 6inch strips that are the best way I've found to adhere ribbon - its narrow so it works for skinny stuff too. It comes in refillable plastic storage pouches and has square tab sizes too. HTH

Making Memories has a "Ribbon Glue" that doesn't soak through.

Also, If my layers permit me to do so, I simply tape the loose ends around the back of the cardstock.

Slice up teensy bits of glue sticks (kind for hot glue guns). Lay on card, heat and smooth with a toothpick and stick the ribbon on. It will never come off.

This is why I adore the Trio adhesive. I pick the size closest to the size of the ribbon (works even for tiny skinny ribbon)- apply the adhesive, because the backign stays on while you apply it, the ribbon doesn't curl up and adhear to itself- then the entire ribbon is sticky.

I use my X Xyron, brand name Glue Dots (Zots glue dots don't work the same), double stick tape, or hardware to hold my ribbon on. For my 'normal' useage I prefer the Glue Dots the most to tack the ends of the ribbon around the back of the card. My LSS has that ribbon glue, but I haven't gotten it yet (she's only open between 10 am - 5 pm)

The red line tape SU sells is just a smidge smaller than the SU grosgrain ribbon, and sticks beautifully so if I need ribbon to lie flat I use that, but also monoadhesive or glue dots work well for me.

Default All really great ideas!

Thanks Ladies! I never thought of using my Xyron, DUH! I would like to try the ribbon glue will have to check LSS. I usually use glue dots but like a dummy I put them on the front and they leave an impression. I should try wrapping ends around the back, less unsightly than bumps on pretty ribbon. These have really helped my brainblock you guys, thanks.
