I want to order the circle scallop Nestie set and I'm wondering if there is also a reason to have the SU Scallop punch, other than the ease of just punching out a quick scallop when I want one. Are the sizes of the scallops on the Nesties a much different size, or is there not a comparable size circle in the Nestie set? I know my SU circle punch sizes coordinate with my SU scallop punch, so will I not be able to coordinate as easily if I get rid of my scallop punch and just use the Nesties?
Thanks! I tried doing a search on the internet before asking, but since I didn't know the full name, I wasn't finding what I was looking for! Another reason to get the cuttlebug!!
I think the nesties have a smaller scallop (don't have them so I'm going on what I see in the gallery).
The best reasons to keep it, I would think, are:
- because so many sets are now, and will be, geared to fit in the scallop
-the way the circle punches fit perfectly inside it
-the ease of cutting as many scallops as you want in any piece of paper, even ones that do not fit in your CB!
I'd keep it, but I'm a "keeper" (((in many ways..... ha!)))
The SU punch means I can have a scalloped edge quick and easy without setting up my CB and hoping that I remember how to use the nesties with it. [Not had great luck with the sandwiching option!]
