Default Seahorse, not shrimp

Today I posted a card to my gallery and did not realize until I looked at my gallery a lot later that I had said the card contained a shrimp. Well, it doesn't. It has a seahorse on it. I tried to leave a comment that I do know a sea horse from a shrimp, but apparently we are not able to leave comments on our own cards.

Does anyone know if it is possible to edit the text with our photos? Or am I stuck with my "shrimp" card?

Momis mama is right, Carmellia, but it actually can be a little bit confusing. Display your card in the gallery. To edit its description, you would click on the "Edit Photo" link. (It's in the line above the thumbnails that appear before the comments.) From the next screen, you can Edit Photo Description in the text box, and then click the Save Changes button. There's a delay, so it will take a while for the gallery to catch up to your edits.

I didn't know why you weren't able to comment on your own card. I just tested it and it worked for me.

You should be able to comment on your own cards. I have before.

Thank you, ladies, for your help. I had always thought the edit photo button was for choosing a different photo to use.

It took a while for the shrimp in the "details" are to disappear, but it now has and I have no more shrimp. Where was my head? Thanks again.
