Shipping time on Bellas.....MY experience!
Okay, I know this has been discussed before and some people say their orders were shipped weeks ago and still haven't received them. Normally I just rip open the envie and don't even pay attention to postmark dates, etc since I'm just so happy that the girls are HOME!
TODAY, I got one of 3 packages that are on their way from Emily in Canada. I live in Orange County, Southern California. She shipped on the 24th and I received them today on the 26th. 2 days. That's IT! I think it really IS a post office thing.....because I don't ever remember it taking longer than 3 days from the time Emmy said they shipped until they arrived. SO....I would check @ my post office if I hadn't gotten them in about 2 weeks.
I totally think you are right. I can send a swap to a gal in NJ and she gets it in two days, while the gal 45 min. from me gets it in a week. I wish I knew what moved it along fast! My Bellas supposedly shipped on Monday, so I'm glad to hear your news about getting them so fast. You'd think being in a suburb of a big city like Chicago it would be good, but not always!
If something is coming from Canada into the US - it can get caught up - I have done swaps where I have opened it up to Canadians...some peoples I get a few days after they mail it - others I have gotten 3 weeks (yes 3 weeks) after it was sent (could tell by the postmark)...I asked my post office about it and they said it could have been due to random checking by customs - that customs will pull a batch of mail from time to time and check it over so the mail gets hung up

So what we need to do is get our Bellas shipped to you, DisneyDoll, and then you can send 'em out to us! Maybe that's what Emily needs to do. Find a US counterpart with a friendly Post Office. Mine took 20 days from when I ordered. (I remember when they arrived b/c it was my anniversary and my DH had big plans so Bella and I couldn't play). Not super long in reality, but definitely long enough when waiting for Bellas!
ohhhhh mail on saturday... mmmmmm how nice would that be. Don't get ME started either on basic Canada Post.. horrendous.. Israel gets it in 3 days, florida gets it in 20, uk gets it in 4.. someone around the corner from me.. 8 days.. UMMM DO YOU SEE LOGIC?
