Becoming a demo in Feb - is anything changing?

I heard that demos (in Canada at least) and other things were changing at Stampin Up. Can anyone tell me what is changing and if it is for the better or worse?

Also are there any specials for becoming a demo in Feb?

you do get an extra stamp set if you sign up during SAB.

I have read from some that went to Leadership that there are exciting changes coming. not sure just when though...

Thanks so much. Do you know if the set has to be under a certain value, or can it be any value?

Any value (I believe technically it says "up to $47.95" - but since there is only one set at that price and it's the most expensive one, any value)

In the US, the set can be any value, which is awesome.
My former downline, soon to be upline has described some of the changes to me in a hilarious (but private) exchange of emails. I still don't understand all of them but I think demos will have different kinds of website and will be able to take credit cards and SU will absorb the cost of the credit card use. I'm probably wrong because the emails were flying fast and free but I'm sure someone will straighten me out.

Also, I think demos will be able to bulk buy some items. I think...

I do know that new catalogues releases will now coincide with SU major events and that there are demo changes

Your right:D.

It is a great time to sign up. I am excited about the websites. My future upline told me 12.95 a month, and first 2 months free. She didn't give me a setup fee but it would be fantastic if there weren't one.

There is no set up fee, just the $12.95 a month (after 2 months free). I haven't totally updated my site yet, but they are very nice--a lot of cool features.

It is true that SU! is going to accept credit cards directly from our customers (instead of us using a 3rd party vendor) and that they are absorbing the costs. This is huge and I'm so grateful to SU! for this change--but it won't happen until later 2008.

It's a great time to join SU! I know some people wait to sign up in Feb so that they can receive a free set during Sale-a-Bration. But, something to consider--if you want SU! as a business, you may want to sign now and be ready for SAB as a demo! What a great way to get a running start on your business!
