Default Beautician

Hi
I have been asked by a beautician, who travels to peoples houses in London, to think about a design for a Christmas/Voucher card for her to give to all her clients at Christmas.
I have been looking for stamps, paper and card for this sort of theme - makeup etc but can't seem to find any. She wants a classy card not a girly one. I would prefer to use stamps and maybe alcohol inks so any ideas anyone?

Thanks xx

PS Don't forget I am UK so many of your wonderful stamps not available to me xx

Sounds tricky. Does it HAVE to be on the make-up etc theme? Can't it just be an elegant flower? It's so difficult when people have very particular requirements, isn't it?

If you want something that specific I'd say your best bet is a big rubber stamping/papercrafts show, like the one at Alexandra Palace on October 1-2. Don't know if you've ever been but it's pretty big, with LOADS of rubber stamps. www.expressrubberstamps.co.uk organise the show. Hope this helps.

If you can get it, the Bubble Queen set in SU would be perfect!

I have a friend who is a beautician and always had a hard time making her a card for birthdays. I agree with Joan B, that Bubble Queen would be a cool set to try! Let us know how you make out.

Keep an eye on the BST forum -- Haute Couture has been showing up quite a bit lately, but be quick because it disappears almost as soon as it is listed!

Not trying to pull any punches here, but would it *have* to be SU? I ask because TAC has a set of makeup, nail polish, etc., that is not cutesy, but retired last year. You could probably still get your hands on it. It was called "Make Me Up."

HTH a little bit. :-)
