Default Please help... Stamp/Scrap stores in Phoenix

Hey Ladies,

I come to this site with any questions because everyone is soooo helpful.
Again, I need your help!

We are travelling to Phoenix in Nov or Dec for holidays. We will have a rental car as we can travel to Mesa, Scottsdale, etc...

What stamps/scrap stores must I hit?
Are there any good packaging stores (for envelopes, tins, cello bags, etc...) that are good as well?

Any help and assistance is sooo appreciated!!

Thanks again!

Thank you so much for your help! Do you know if Xpedex carries the specialty envelopes that we use, like 5x5 or 3x3's? I am on their website but don't see any, so... just wondering if I am blind ;)

Thank you everyone... I have heard so many great things about Scrapbook Etc., so that will be my first stop....

Any other stores for packaging, like cello bags and/or 3" white envelopes?
The shipping to Canada on those is insane... so thought that I could pick some up while we are in Arizona. So excited!

I don't know if they carry those type of envelopes as I only buy the A2 and once in a while the A6. Their telephone number is 480-929-0120 and you could give them a call once you are in the area. Too bad you aren't here now, then you could go to the big convention this weekend in Mesa. Enjoy your visit.

Thanks armadillo! I wish I was there this weekend... the events in the US are so much bigger than here in Canada. I am getting so excited about being in Phoenix.... You know you are addicted when you base your holidays around great craft shopping - lol! jk!

Scrapbooks Etc will be my first stop. Does anyone know of a place that sells the Janome Sew Mini? Hancock Fabric will not sell to me and will not have it shipped to the Hotel (although the hotel said they would receive pkgs) b/c I don't have a US credit card... ugh! So I need to find another retailer that sells one or have to convince my hubbie to drive me to Tuscon!

Apparently Home Depot sells them! You might want to call first though.

I buy some of my envelopes and clear bags at Papers Plus! It is northwest of Phx in Glendale. It has been a while since I have been there, so not sure if they are still open or not. If I can track down their number I will post it! It is the best time of year to visit the weather is perfect...still a little warm now but should be good by the end of the month. HTH!

Yes, Paper Plus is still in NW Phoenix. Great store. A few other stamps store in the west valley to visit:
MadScrappers on Cave Creek Rd
Scraphappy Sisters on 67th Ave and Happy Valley Rd
Cropgirls on Peoria Ave
There is one up in the Anthem shopping area
There is one in central Phoenix - Melrose or something with that name in it...very fun store and lots of stuff
Have a great visit!

I just wanted to add the following in the event you can spend a hour or so at Scrapbooks etc. One of my favorite things about the store is that for $3 a half hour you can use any of their equipment in the store. If you have your own paper you can use thier die cut machines, and cut out as much as you want or buy the paper from them. You can also use their punches and paper trimmers where they have a big room with tables to use. Just check on the times this is available. Have fun, I am looking forward to going down for 3 months after Christmas.
