Default Suggestions on pricing scrapbook

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I can't seem to find it anywhere! DUH!! I have 2 ladies who have seen some of my work and want me to do scrapbooking for them. I have no clue how/what to charge. Should they furnish their own "stuff" (besides pictures)? Should I charge by the page, by the hour or by the project? How much?
You should know that I'm a 'picky worker'....if it don't look good....it don't go out. So needless to say, it takes me time and I try to do the very best that I can.
ANYWAY......all and any suggestions are welcomed and needed...
Thanks girls....you rock!
Dianne ;)

this is a hard one. are they giving you "creative control" on the scrapbook?
i would figure out what i will be needing and have them pay for the supplies, minus the tools you have that you will be using...punches, trimmers etc. they would pay for embellishments. extra adhesives, paper, ribbons, etc.
as for other charges i think by the project would be better and that one i couldnt give you a number. once you have that figured out you could just give them one total. hope that made sense.
hope i was able to help. if not i am sure someone else will come along and help you.
good luck!

I did one for a friend and charged $10 for each 8x8 spread. I did use a lot of embellishments and layers. In the end, I don't think it was enough to cover all the time I put in and the changes she kept wanting....

That would be my main advice. Monitor changes!!!
