a brass template, soap, wide sticky tape and glitter. I know that the Technique Junkie February newsletter has this technique, but I also saw a video tutorial on it. I thought I bookmarked it , but, of course, now I can not find it. Has anyone else seen it and knows where it is?
So funny, :p I saw the video tutorial before I got the newsletter. I have been searching for it the past 2 weeks, and my computer history only goes back 3 weeks, so that did not help. Yesterday while waiting for something to download, I finally looked at the TJ Newlsetter that has been around for weeks and what did I see!!!! Yup, the same technique, LOL. I really wanted to see the video again, though, which is better for us visual learners ;)
Crafty Cow does have a very good video on this technique and a few others all using the embossing paste. It's about 2 hours and the ladies are English with accents, but it's very interesting and easy to follow even if you just watch it with no sound. I found the chatter a bit much, but that's just my opinion. It's not meant to be a professional production, they're having fun also. All in all, it's very good and informative. You'll really learn from it.
I know you said you are looking for a "video" of the technique. As a subscriber to the TJNL, you have access to the subscriber only pages with show the technique with step by step directions.

Wow, that was interesting to watch. Your are so right with the chatter, :p , so one must be patient when watching. The technique I was looking for did not use the paste, but sticky tape, which does give a bit of a different look than when using the paste. I really like this technique also ;) Thanks for sharing it.
