Baby Shower Invites
 

I have two cousins who are expecting babies 6 weeks apart and we decided to do a combined baby shower. One is having a boy and the other is having a girl. I have been trying to figure out how to coordinate both sexes in one invitation. Has anyone done invitations like this or do they have samples that they can share with me? I would love some help.

Could you go with more neutral colors so the invites aren't really gender-specific? For instance, I have this card in my gallery. It's not specifically an invitation, but you could easily adapt it to be one. That's one idea, anyway.

I would do pink and blue together (with a neutral base) and use 2 of whatever image you choose.

Here's one I did for my friends baby shower. She had a boy but I thought the little bit of pink on it was ok. These colors could easily cover a combined boy & girl invitation.

I did shower invitations last year for 2 sisters...one found out that they were having a boy and the other left it a surprise....

The poem for the inside i used....

The stork will be busy in the early spring.
Sweet and beautiful babies it will certainly bring.

For Mariela and Tom, it will bring a boy.
Their home will certainly be filled with joy.
For Melissa and Russ, will it be blue or pink?
They want a surprise, so what do you think?

Let's shower the moms with prizes and fun.
Hopefully they will be ready once we are done.

maybe use the wash day wheel and color some of the baby clothes pink and some blue...
