Default Scratch & Sniff

I'm working on a scratch & sniff card with the gingerbread man from Deer Friends. I did it with cinnamon last week but the scent is all gone now. I know there are others who have used spices to do scratch & sniff. Any suggestions on how to make the scent last longer?
